The studio is owned and managed by Deon Schreiber. His passion for glass has expanded over the years from glass sculpture to textured and interior glass design. The combination of science and creativity is what keeps him continuously developing new textures and mould-making techniques.

The studio opened in 2005 and has a team of skilled and committed artisans who all contribute to the creative process and maintain a high quality of standard in all their product offerings.

Based in Maitland, Silica Glass Studio is one of the first of its kind in South Africa. Their extensive range of specialised kiln textured glass can be viewed at the studio by appointment.
