Technical Information
[twocol_one]
Kiln textured glass or slumped glass, is created though the controlled heating of glass on top of high temperature moulds. As the glass is heated it softens enough to slump into the relief of the mould and pick up the surface details. The surface that is in contact with the mould is deeply textured and obscure while the other surface is slightly undulating but remains smooth and clear.
Kiln textured glass is available in standard thickness of 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, and 15mm and 19mm on request.
